How do I connect my LinkedIn account?

Go to the Posthaste App Home in Slack and click the "Connect LinkedIn" button. You'll be redirected to LinkedIn to authorize the app. Once authorized, you'll see a success message and your account will appear as connected.

How do I pause my participation?

Visit the Posthaste App Home in Slack and click the "Pause" button next to your profile. You can resume at any time by clicking "Resume". While paused, no posts will be shared to your LinkedIn feed.

What happens when my LinkedIn token expires?

Posthaste will send you a DM in Slack before your token expires, giving you time to re-authorize. If your token expires, you'll need to reconnect your LinkedIn account through the App Home to continue participating.

How are captions generated?

Posthaste uses AI (powered by Ollama with the Llama 3.2 model) to generate unique, professional captions for each repost. Captions are designed to be natural and engaging while maintaining authenticity.

Why are there delays between posts?

Posthaste uses smart scheduling with randomized delays to avoid triggering spam detection on LinkedIn. This ensures your reposts appear natural and maintains compliance with LinkedIn's terms of service.

How do I disconnect my account?

You can disconnect your LinkedIn account from the Posthaste App Home in Slack. You can also revoke access directly from your LinkedIn settings under "Permitted Services". To request data deletion, contact us at posthaste@oag-svc.dev.
