Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Posthaste ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service, including workspace administrators and individual team members.

2. Description of Service

Posthaste is a Slack application that monitors designated channels for LinkedIn post URLs and automatically reposts them to authorized team members' LinkedIn profiles with AI-generated captions.

The Service requires:

  • Installation of the Posthaste Slack app in your workspace
  • Explicit LinkedIn OAuth authorization from each participating team member
  • Designation of a Slack channel for monitoring

3. Account & Authorization

  • You must have a valid Slack account and be a member of a Slack workspace to use the Service.
  • You must authorize your LinkedIn account through OAuth to enable reposting functionality.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You represent that you have the authority to bind your organization to these terms if you are installing the Service on behalf of an organization.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate LinkedIn's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Post spam, misleading content, or malicious links
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Post content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the LinkedIn API
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

5. Content Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for all content posted to LinkedIn through the Service.
  • AI-generated captions are suggestions; you authorize their use by participating in the Service.
  • You retain all ownership rights to your original content.
  • By using the Service, you grant us permission to repost content on your behalf as directed.

6. API & Rate Limits

The Service operates within LinkedIn's API rate limits (approximately 100 API calls per user per day). We implement smart scheduling to distribute posts and avoid triggering spam detection. You acknowledge that LinkedIn may change their API terms or rate limits at any time, which may affect the Service's functionality.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE
  • WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT
  • WARRANTIES THAT LINKEDIN WILL NOT MODIFY THEIR API OR TERMS

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OAG SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OAG Solutions and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Slack app or revoking your LinkedIn authorization.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
  • We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice on this page or sending a notification through Slack. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Israel.
